You should put a kit together. It certainly will be the most under rated upgrades one can do. It is one of the few things that set M3 apart from the 335i.

Excellent work Orb! As usual.

I'm sorry to say that the current economic crises has curtailed my prolific modding for the time being, but the fact that we can replicate the ever excellent suspension performance of the current M3 means that I will be able to enjoy modding my 335 for years to come

I corrected my first post as I listed the wishbone which can be changed but the key parts are tension struts.

Which do you think will have bigger impact on handling...the tension strut or the rubber mounts? And what's their respective install hour? Trying to see which one to do first cost wise...

Although I don't really get the technical aspect of these things...but your advice can't go wrong

Tension struts will take about 15-30 minutes per side to do depends on your tech skill and tools used.

The rear subframe bushings, that will take you a whole day without proper tools! Even with it, it will take you a good 5-6 hours. We have done many E36/46 subframe bushings and will not do them without the proper tools.

Being mechanically not inclined...

If I were to order the subframe bushings, and the tension struts...what would I be looking at for install costs??

(and just to be sure..the subframe bushings, and the tension struts are the only thing to add? Or was there something else)

Just trying to put this all together for myself

I had realoem open at the same time, so I was looking at both but you kept talking about the wishbone.

Does an alignment need to be performed if just replacing the front tension struts/wishbone ellements?

I knew he meant the thrust arms(tension rods) from many posts ago...No wishbones are used on the E9X front end.

Does the alignment need to be done when changing out these?

If the only difference is the rubber mounts, then why don't we just order number 15 in the pic and replace the bushing in our tension links?
Or is the entire tension link different from ours?

Because the 335i and the M3 uses a diff diameter bushing!
