On another note I have been getting countless PM's and emails from people offering their car for testing or for product development. I really appreciate everyone's enthusiasm but we do have a group of cars we are already going to be working with. Thank you all for your awesome enthusiasm but please no more emails or pm's asking if we can use your car. I have a pretty long list of alternates so we are more then set at the moment.

I am really excited about the response on here and how everyone is excited about us being in this market right now. You guys are great. If you really want to help then keep throwing out ideas or products that you would like to see get made for your N54.

FINALLY AMS IS HERE TO SAVE THE DAY! lol

I moved from an evo9, and AMS is at the top of the food chain for performance and reliability!

Can't wait for the turbo kit :]

A true CAI maybe?

Basically, what most of us want is, something that will make the most out of those turbos (power, sound, reliability, etc.).

welcome.. i too look forward to more choices when it comes to performance

these are the areas i would be interested in:

- exhaust (comparable to bastuck or eisenmann)

- downpipes

- front mount intercooler

- intake

good luck!

Some specifics on what I personally would be looking for out of a turbo upgrade kit:

Minimal turbo lag in the mid range. I love the boost response with JB3, resembles an NA car over 3k RPMs, and keeping that kind of smoothness would be awesome for those of us who enjoy driving on the tracks with the curves!

I think 450rwhp isn't a bad number to shoot for. I think that could be done easily while keeping in mind minimal turbo lag and reliability. 500rwhp would be excellent, but that's pushing the limits of streetability, IMO. My '03 Cobra had that much power, and I felt that it was riding the ragged edge of streetable. 500rwhp might be too much for this car on the street, I'm not sure. I'd think 450rwhp would be good for mid 11s in the low 120s, and I don't know if there's really need for more than that. That said, a race-gas map with bigger boost for trips to the track is a must!

This is a big one I don't hear talked about: Relatively low-drone exhaust with the turbo upgrade! I know most people interested in upgrading the turbo on most cars want the most power possible, and don't mind big noise. Personally, I drive this car daily, and I know many others do also. I do not want a lot of drone out of my exhaust. I know that isn't easy, but part of the reason companies like Bastuck can get away with charging $1,500 for a catback is that it sounds amazing whilst still not droning. An exhaust that is livable day-to-day would be a HUGE selling point.

I think integrating map switching capability like what's found on JB3/V3 would be important for a turbo upgrade. Flip a switch to go from low boost (350rwhp), to high boost (450rwhp) to race fuel (500rwhp). I'd definitely use this utility!

I'm not sure if you've driven an N54 with JB3, but give it a try. That kind of part throttle smoothness is mandatory, IMO. The linear delivery of power is what makes that tune as great as it is! I've never driven V3, so I don't know if it has the same feel at part throttle.

Some other products I'd LOVE to see:

AFFORDABLE LSD SOLUTION! Paying 4grand for an LSD is hard to swallow when I can get a custom sprung and valved TC Kline or Vorshlag suspension tuned to perfection for less than that, which would provide SO much more for the dollar in all regards. I think $1,500-2,000 is reasonable. More than that, and I think the cost gets a little tough to justify. I've said this a few times, to different vendors. I'm pretty sure this is a case of, "If you build it, they will come." I think EVERYONE wants an LSD, but not many that aren't building a race car are willing to drop 4+ thousand dollars on one.

For stock bolt-on parts:

Full 3" turboback. I'll bet those running high boost could see an extra 10-15rwhp out of the current 2.5-2.25" systems.

Plug and play water/alch injection, with the tuning to match.

We have traction problems now with tunes around 350rwhp. At 450-550rwhp, good luck. Need wider, bigger rear tires.

I have to agree, we have tons of bolt on's but we do need a fuel system upgrade (starting with the fuel pump) and a decent turbo manifold. Those things first would/could be added to already heavily modified 335i's and get your foot in the door. We can always upgrade already ugraded? parts later on as we see your stuff is king dingaling. Also, with all of these instakes/cones why not get past that and get into intake manifolds and head work. Air flow has 2 components, volume and "direction/swirl" so that would really interest me!

A Dinan style of flash tune would be nice for under $2k for sure, to top it all off. Even if I have to drive to Chicago to get it!

I know at least one racing group is in the process of developing PnP 255/275 setup for the 135i. I'd imagine some stick 275s could hold 400-450 reasonably well with a light throttle foot.
