Leased a car...decide to paint the roof?
I leased a 2009 328xi coupe
and decided painting the roof will look better  however, when i return the car after 3 years.. with the black painted roof...what will they do?? forced me to paint it back to white?? please help |

Like all mods when you return the car they want it back to normal. I painted my roof a few month ago and it'll cost me about $250 to bring it back to stock in three years so it's the same as lowering the
car and bringing back to stock later.... Check out my profile for images.

lol thanks so much, because i just bought $1500 worth amount of mods
and i just started to lease my car. The lease will end in 2012. So painting job is $250 and $250 so its $500 lol do u think its worth to do that?? Quote:

fail. Lol dont paint it... they would probably charge you... no matter how good it looks lol, the likelyhood of somebody wanting a used car with a painted roof is very very slim.... vinyl overlay maybe?

 yea...probably i shouldnt and seems like they wont allow. However, the dealer told me if i lease a car, i cannot remove the body kit but i can do some add on. is that true? Quote:

Do a vinyl, save yourself some aggravation, because unless the paint job is perfect you're going to have issues when you return the car. Vinyl roofs look just like they're painted if done right. What it is is just a large piece of custom cut black vinyl that is stuck onto your roof, its just like a big sticker.

saw it in person> CF overlay. look really good.
