I like the new one better by far. It makes the previous gen just look stale in comparison. I don't know if I could ever buy a coupe but if I could force myself to forgo rear doors I'd definetely look at this and (depending on the final version) the next g35.

My reasons for liking this gen more.

- The taller doors and smaller vertical side windows gives it a sleeker appearance and makes it more mean looking.

- I like hte flat edges along the wheel wells, gives it a nice chisel detail instead of going to a soft round edge.

- The single deep crease in the new one looks much more high end than the previous gen. The previous door lines look cheap in comparison, and is something that is found on many lower end cars.

- The front bumper now appears to be a single piece with the front (ala audi) rather than a separate element. Creates a much more seamless appearance. the same is true with the shortened rear trunk and the transition to the rear bumper.

- I like how the new car has lowered side sills and an elongated door to make the car appear to sit lower and be more sporty.

- The side mirrors now appear to flow with the shape of the car rather than being an extraneous element

Good looks like I can at least stick some skis throught the middle. Even if the rear seats don't fold. Does anyone know if they can fold down?

Yeah I agree with you there but still since a lot of people will be ordering before seeing the cars in person its better than nothing.

How? Everything we've read suggests that the new coupe doesn't even offer folding seats as an option?

Always check the E92 Master FAQ List for info

Here's the UK standard options list and it shows a 60/40 split seat folding option. --> http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...t=17829&page=4

Thank you, Jason!

But what does that mean for those of us in the US? The US Spec sheet I saw floating around doesn't make any mention of them (re-checked), but I guess that doesn't really mean yes or no.

I hope they aren't standard.

Everyone needs to quit b*tching about the weight.

More weight most likely means stronger materials and overall increased rigidity. The overall size of the car isn't up much. It is still a near 50/50 weight distribution as well. BMW would never replace a product without making it superior in every way shape and form to the outgoing model. If you are woried about a 200 lbs. increase from the e46 330Ci to the e92 335i ruining the handling, you might want to lay off the McDonnalds, that way your car isn't so heavy on one side.

This is a poll asking how many people will be trading in their 330's to buy the new 335, so I didnt participate.

But I will be buying the new 335. I'm just going to wait to make sure this isnt priced too much higher than the current 330's, and that I can take ED of it.
