Yah im not too sure about the codes being thrown.. I do know that the SSTT has been unchanged and has been around for over a year.... This last summer was not a cold one either, especially here in CA. So the whole throwing codes cause of the heat seems a bit off.
Also if the SSTT is going to throw a code cause of the psi being to high, what the hell is going to happen with all the people running JB3's and V3's i mean they are pushing way above 2.5 psi over stock..

Better not jump to conclusions just yet. I think I have read maybe two posts in the last year and a half where someone went into limp mode from their SSTT. As far as we know everything up to progman 30 or so has been good. Anything recent, no one knows. I want to know where the hell Split Second's say is on this all.

Preventing engine damage and throwing codes are two separate issues. The big question is what is the maximum boost with SSTT or JB+ that will not throw codes with v32.1? I think BMS says 2.5 PSI and Eurobahn says 3.5 PSI. I have a SSTT in my 2007 E92 but my lease is over in March. I am buying a 2009 E92 and want to how much boost I can run via a TMAP bypass product. Terry and Jeff - please post your comments on this thread

Sent a message to Jeff regarding compatibility with v32.1 and got this response:

The money is not an issue since both the SSTT and the JB+ are dirt cheap. I am just concerned with all the reports of thrown codes with the JB+. I have not seen one documented code with the SSTT reported and it is fixed at 3.5 PSI which is higher than the JB+ default setting.
