423whp, 397lbft PROcede Rev.II v3.1 Stg 3
Hi guys,
I've been doing some more development on v3.1. Specifically with octane and air/temp compensations (recently added a FMIC on our car). Everyone wants a race gas map that they can potentially runs 11s in. So we will oblidge. Took it to the dyno today to test. This is the same Dynojet (Modacar, Livermore CA) we always use. It's not optimistic as stock 335is make 270-275whp. On 104oct, and on an Sept 08 built MSD81 ECU the car put down 423whp and 397lb of torque. Graphs and video to come soon. Peak hp is at 5700rpm. And by 6700rpm, power is still at 400whp. So top end powerband is insane. Mods are: Vishnu Cat-back Riss catless dp Vishnu intakes Upgraded FMIC (still have some more testing to do on this) PROcede Rev.II v3.1 firmware running a beta Stg 3 map 104oct Conditions: 75F, 22% Humidity Correction Used: STD Here's a bunch of consecutive runs from today, during the tuning process. Also plotted is a run of my car when it was stock. Same dyno. Similar conditions: Cheers, shiv Last edited by OpenFlash; 10-30-2008 at 09:13 PM.. |

Good tuning =) Remember he had cut back torque vs. hp a year+ ago with V2 and further on v3 for the 29.2/msd81

no one but me (and now shiv) has dynoed with this map on 104.... 405awhp without an upgraded FMIC is pretty good IMO... but hey, you can think whatever you want It's clear no matter what you're going to hate, so there is no point in even getting into an argument |

397lb-ft of torque is "keeping the torque down?"

It's been MSD compliant for me so far but it's close to the limit. I would officially say no just to be realistic and conservative. Besides, it's hard to be stealthy with fmic, dps, exhaust etc.
