Nav location off after the battery died?

My battery died while my car was at a body shop. I have it back now and the battery is fine but the nav's location is completely off. Didn't see any option to reset or recalibrate or anything of that nature. The battery was never unplugged/removed, just lost all its charge. I left it alone thinking it would fix itself once the battery charged up all the way, yet the issue is still there. Anyone know how to resolve this?
Are there any other issues or modules that go out of whack after a dead battery that I should worry about?

Looked into it a bit more and found this thread(below) in which technic posted the user manual for the CIC system.
www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=233573
According to the manual the way to reset/reboot the idrive is to press and hold down the volume/mute button. I did this to no avail, the reboot worked just didn't fix the issue. After paying closer attention to the map it actually looks like its showing that the car is still at the body shops location, I'm guessing because this is where the battery died?

Edit: The CIC user manual is in post #15 to those who may need it.

Try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes or so.

Won't this cause other things to need a reset or recoding?

Recoding, no. Resetting things like your clock/date, yes.
