It's a 12MP camera with a 18-105mm lens

Nothing as fancy as a D300 or higher, but it'll do just fine.

yep using the original lens, and its a 18-105mm (18-135mm was for the D80)

thanks! That was the idea on that particular shot. These are all studies on different approaches.
