70-80hp with JB3? Don't think so!!!

i got the 335i with the JB3 and dual cone intake. Just put it on the dyno last week. After 5 runs, the Max power I got was 332.95 hp at the flywheel with 353.53 tq. Anyone else getting similar results?

I am not dissing on the product. I love my JB3, however their website shows hp about 400 with torque over 400. Maybe I need to get the downpipes and fmic first. Before the dyno, I really thought I was gonna be at 370hp or something close to that. NOT 332hp.

Anyone else dyno their car?

number seems a bit low...
you should get the baseline, otherwise is useless.

the 400rwhp and 400rwtq dyno your talking about is not with the JB3 and dual cones, you're refering to the dyno for the JB2HHR with downpipes and dual cones that was running on race gas. with a setup similar to yours you should be in the 350-360 power range, but in your case you need a baseline dyno to see the gains. maybe that dyno is very conservative and the only way to tell is do a baseline dyno in similar conditions.

Besides all of that even, Running your car with the JB3 and SSTT, what were you thinking man??? this could be another explanation!

That is WHP, not crank.

Without a baseline, that is impossible to judge. For all we know, you could have gained 100whp if the dyno reads low.

come to my friend's dyno place, i'll have him make your car 500+whp beast on dyno without jb3, if that's going to make you feel better...

lol

seriously though, without a baseline dyno of your car completely stock you cant judge a single thing on that above posted dyno graph.

go back to the dyno, remove ALL of your tunes, and run 3 runs bone stock. Then reinstall the JB3, which takes very little time anyway, drive around the block and punch it, hop back on the dyno and do 3 more runs. Then you will have an idea of what is going on.

you are the new dumbest member. sorry. 400 hp is the crank hp the 332hp is whp. you car would probably baseline around 275whp asuming you didn't destroy it "stacking" tunes. so you still probably gained around 60 hp, and i bet you didnt even let it adapt. i know it might kill sales, but Terry and Shiv should make their customers take competency tests before buying their respective tunes.

The dyno run was a waste of money unless you run it without the tune first - dyno's vary widely and if you get 250hp before the tune and 335 after - fairly impressive boost - if you dyno at 300 before and got 332 then not great results, but what you have is useless - take out the tune, adapt the car, dyno the car, put the tune in, adapt the car and dyno the car (preferably on the same day at the same temp), then tell us what the difference was.
