anyways, Hunter, please show us a stock dyno so we can do a comparison.
Try to keep the dyno condition/variables as same as when you dynoed the Fujita intake, so we can get least comparable dynos. shame you didn't do it on the same day.

Hey guys, I just received an e-mail from Dinan USA and they told me to wait until September or October timeframe. They are testing the new Cold Air Intake for the E90s.
Don't waste more $$$ and start saving for the "real deal" coming soon.

Dinan is the "real deal?" That's news to me. Their E46 products are overpriced and underperforming. I suppose that's the penalty of going with a warranteed product.

no you are wrong.
Dinan intake will get you 1 more horsepower and 1 more torque.
It'll cost $1000 more though.

it'd be funny with hunter dynos right now(With stock intake) and dyno 160whp.
then he actually gained 10whp from fajita intake!

I am getting th dyno done this weekend, the catback has already been installed

I dont think I gained HP from the intake...Why would I get so killed racing a stock 325 automatic?


Driv3r feels the same way about the intake

I took it to Bavarian Hyper Sport(Best shop in Houston, people drive from out of state just to get work done there) and as soon as he saw the intake he said it was garbage....

Dyno comming tomorrow

I hate to be a details person but since the environment has changed this no longer a valid test of the difference between them (them being the 2 intakes). I'm not saying the intake isn't an issue, I'm just saying as with any comparsion, you can't change the control enviroment and have it be valid.

Wow, you are one lucky 16 year old with lots of money...take care of it and avoid doing mods you dont need. This will come in time, but many things are better if left unchanged on a car. The more you change, the more rattles and grinds you'll hear.

unless the hp difference is very significant. The environments from the 2 dynos shouldn't be too different anyways(but I think we can see what conditions it was tested under on some part of the dyno sheet.)
