tire help (urgent)

Hi guys, my friend just had couple of flat tires (3 out of 4) and he's now looking for AS tires. We have found some good price on tireracks, but not sure about what size to get.

He is using stock 19s (19x8 fronts and 19x9 rears)

I have heard good things about PZero Nero M&S, but they only come with 235/35/19, 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. I believe the fronts will sit fine with 235s, but will 275s fit in the rears?

Or

Does anyone know any good AS tires that will fit in these 19s (he's more concerned about snow traction)

Thanks guys

275's will fit fine. i think if the car is slammed with an agressive offset wheel you might need to roll fenders but other than that i think alot of guys here actually run 275's. but now that i think about it i dont know if you can mount a 275 on a 9 inch rim, i would say you probably can.

look into ContiExtremeContacts... very highly rated A/S for snow traction.

EDIT: I see that Tirerack doesn't carry them in 275 though

You need 275/30-19 for the rear.

But will they fit tho? I know 255 and 265 will fit, but not sure about 275.

What else would you get recommend?

There's no 19s for ContiExtremeContacts.

look into the vredestein winter tires...I think they come in 19 and should be good for snow

other than that..I know that 275's wont fit an e92 without rolling in back, but will fit an e90 usually. But this is in relation to a 9.5 inch wide rear wheel...I cant say I know about what would happen with a 9 inch wheel, but I imagine you would be fine since it's not as wide

doesn't mean they don't make um though... check around town, you're bound to find them. Or you could PM Gary@Tirerack and ask him if they can get them.

255 is stretching it a bit, 265 would be fine. When you go on Tirerack, look at the sizing/pricing tab and it'll give you a width range for the rim according to what size tire you're looking at. If its within range you should be good, but they vary from manufacturer... Dunlops @ 225 wouldn't fit my 8.5" rears but the Blizzaks and Goodyears would, so it all depends on what you're looking at.

275/30-19 fits the rear of an E92/3 without rubbing, as long as the wheels have the right offset.

My summer setup consists of Falken FK-452 235/35-19 front 275/30-19 rear on iForged wheels. No problem with rubbing on stock sport suspension whatsoever. iForged keeps the offset figures confidential so I don't know what they are.

OP has 9" rear width rims...255 rear tires might not be too thin...265 prob safer
