V1 owners now have a solution to those problematic suction-cup holders that fall off your windshield.

Easily affixed to your mirror with included set screws, our V1 mounts are BMW-specific, not a universal "one size fits all" application. This securely holds the V1 and allows a direct, level line of sight for proper radar detection and keeps it in place - even in the event of an accident.

Our V1 Radar Detector Mounts are CAD designed and CNC machined from T6061 aluminum for maximum durability. A black anodized finish gives a quality design that is welcome in your BMW.

Very clean. Why so much though? Not that 70ish isnt bad but I bought the same exact piece for my 09 Z06 corvette and it was like 30.

wow this is another great product but i have the hardwire in the fuse box and it would look mad ugly with the wire just dangling out there. hm...

Not really, the wire can he routed cleanly if time is taken.

wow. very expensive....
it looks good. but i have mine hardwired and placed above my mirror.
u guys should look into that. cuz when tis there, u can flip down the visor so when a cop comes up, he wont see it. trust me this happened to me everytime i get pulled over (about 15 times so far) and i make sure they dont see the radar detector.

Detector is placed for optimum detection through all angles of the vehicle.

very intersted but have a few questions.

1. does it get in the way of the mirror or the red ball below the mirror?
2. is the position of the v1 where detection is best?
3. does the v1 slide on the rail at all?
4. no drilling, etc required right? just mount the adapter, insert screws on the adapter and slide the v1 onto the rail?

No, the detector is placed directly below the "clown nose" on the mirror.

Yes - this allows proper laser detection from the front/rear of the vehicle.

V1 is fixed on the bracket and will not move, other than front/back on the stock holder.

No drilling at all, the mount can be removed at any time without a trace.

great idea. would be interested at $25 for the mount.

$80 is a bit too much. For $80 I can tolerate suctions cups... mine has never fallen off either.
