Contrary to what BMWs part numbers are - the mount is slightly different for the e9x applications. The newer mirrors have a slightly tighter tolerance than the previous generations.

We have a different mount in the works for the newer vehicles and will be releasing shortly.

Wait aminute, I just received one of these for my 2007 E90 (without dimming mirrors). Will it work in my car?

Unfortunately, it will not in the e90 we're told.

Thanks for the heads up, we're already fitting the rapid prototypes for the new mirrors at this time, we should have it out by end of Jan.

Any plans to make one for Escort? Out of curiosity, what is the distance between the holes that are used to mount the bottom bracket to the middle piece?

No plans for Escort models, but that may change if there is a bit more demand.

Yes - the tolerances are a bit smaller than previous 3-series models, so the bracket needs to be redesigned.

As of this moment, the mount is on hold until we can complete some other pending projects.
