Really nice! Not to be disrespectful, but why didn't you get a 330? I would've used the money for the BBS to get me a 330 instead of 325.

They're ASA wheels (licensed by BBS). I've heard great things about ASA wheels actually.. you get the looks and damn good quality for a fraction of the price of LM's.

I feel you ... No disrespect taken, dawg ... I have owned "2" E46 330i's (Titanium Silver and Orient Blue). The 255HP is nice but both vehicles have the 3.0L engine. 215HP is only ten horsepower less than what I was used to.

I sold BMW's for a living for 9 years (now a mortgage specialist), so I am extremely familliar with what I was looking for in my new E90. I ordered the vehicle in Feb 2005 and picked it up on May 9th ... one of the very first ones delivered, in Maryland. All I really wanted (must have's) Sports Package, Steptronic (in case wifey needs to drive it), Electric Rear Shade (baby on board), Power Seats and Xenon Lights (angel eyes).

I knew that I was going to change the wheels so no need paying for 18" wheels, plus most of my commute is in rush hour traffic so no need for another 40HP. The premium sound is nice, but the standard is close to the previous H/K in terms of sound. In addition, I don't like the chrome around the windows of the 330i's.

All in all, I have absolutely no regrets ... I could not be any happier with my choice!! I love this vehicle ... simply off the meat rack!!

Did you have to ask tirerack to swap out the BMW hub caps? Does the original ASA cap come off? I'm really thinking of getting these wheels. I have the non sport suspension so it might be to much gap. I need to get springs too.

I did not have to ask Tire Rack for anything ... they said that they automatically do it at no charge! So the machine looks like they came from he factory like that. The wheels are perfectly balanced (even better than the original factory's wheel/tire balancing). I have the original ASA caps in my garage ... I don't know why, but you never know, just in case I decide to sell the wheels to a non BMW owner!

Nawwwwwwww ... The wheels stay on!!!

Thanks for the compliments! The 18's look a "little" smaller. The 19's fill up the wheel well nicely, with out the need for lowering springs. I have a can of fix a flat in the trunk and I carry a spare (one of my 17" take offs) for long trips.

... my specs:

Front: 19 x 8.5 with 235/35 R19 tires
Rear: 19 x 9.5 with 265/30 R19 tires

Great lookling rims. I was looking for something like that, I think I've just found my choice. Could you tell me what tires are those? Would that affect the pressure sensor? Thanks.

Won't affect tire pressure sensoring. Tire pressue is measured by change in the rolling diameter of the wheel from a pressure loss. Check these two threads for some more info on tire pressure monitoring in the E90. So you can use any wheels.

Thanks ... the tires I am running with are the BF Goodrich G-Force KDW-2. Upon installation, the tire pressure moniter will show that you have lost tire pressure. All you need to do is reset it and you are good to go!

How do you like those tires? I've heard that they are noisy.

I'll tell you I had those tires on my Acura TL with 18's. I loved those tires. They greatly inproved handling and where great in the rain. But don't even try driving in the snow. I got stuck once driving home and it started snowing there was just a light layer on the ground. I tried stopping and slid 1/2 mile down hill. Through 2 stop lights. That was so much fun. Other than the tires where great.

I now have 14,200+ miles on my ride, with over 11k on these tires and all I can say is that these tires are absolutely lovely!

I highly recommend them.
