16 PSI!

I was looking at a log from the JB4 today and it shows that my boost hit 16PSI at one point. I'm running Shell VPower Nitro+ and catless down pipes. Seems pretty high. No meth or ethanol, although I suspect Nitro+ could be E5 or E10.

How much boost are you guys seeing?

I have actually ordered 25 litres of Ethanol to look at running an ethanol petrol blend on map 5. Try 20% or 30% and watch the lpfp numbers, to see if it struggles to keep up. I plan on a meth kit next year.

I've also noticed some erratic cold starts in the morning which I would guess could be due to ethanol in the fuel and the unsteady vapour pressures when still cold. Once warmed up I think any ethanol blend should run fine.

19-20 with meth at 60%
It's a proper kick in the back.

No 16PSI with no meth or E85 seems pretty good to me in a petrol.

Well my car wants to weave thanks to not having an LSD when really putting down the power and I'm only at 16 PSI. 20 Would be insane!

16 psi is only just over 1bar, so pretty normal and not stressing anything. Sounds healthy!

It gets a little hairy in 3rd if you hit a damp patch whilst full on the gas.
If I keep the car, my next mod will be LSD, then suspension.

haha, we aren't going to start this now.

Our's sounds better!

Ours has better MPG!

We have higer revs!

We have higher Torque!

etc etc...

Respect to 36psi though. I guess that's why you have a solid steel block.

16 is normal on map 5
I get 14 -16 most of the time, occasionally will hit 18
Stock except JB4, CP and BOV
Map 5 can be a bit random or probably more accurate to say inconsistent IMO

When you have the JB4 USB cable do you need to download software prior to plugging it in?!
