Why would anyone get these? $600 you'd have to be mad.

Thats why I'm asking, they are a good idea, but not for that kind of money. Especially considering you only see them for about 5 seconds a day.

Money is not really a matter for BMW owners. Like ACS or Breyton kit. To me, those kits are just fiber pieces, but they indentify the owners. What are you made off? :-)

Are you kidding? Money is not reallly a matter to maybe the owner of a 760Li, not a 3 or 5 series, and even most 7 series . The people who dont care about money are out driving Bently, not BMW.

After my DIY on the sunglasses holder, I'm considering adding the CF front lip and this as my next project. I just love the way the car looks with the door sills. Anyone actually have these? I gathered this has got to be one of the most unpopular accessories due to its price. If anyone has this installed I'd love to hear your experience.

The thing is, some people are able to afford a bmw becasue they are smart with their money and save for a purpose. No one throws money away...

My friend has them on his mercedes, and they are nice! They light up blue as well. People spend a lot more money on a piece of artwork they probably never look at more than once a year. These, everytime I get into my friends C320, I notice them everytime, and its pretty damn cool. My friend said a guy at his work has them light up in orange on his audi S4 and has the orange rear lights as well, getting closer to ricer, but its looks hot he said.
I think I may get them on the 330ci when it comes out... but i get a discount =)

I finally did this, not by myself though. Had a local body shop installed them for me. Check my other thread for more pictures.
