Exclamation Recall

dealer phoned me today to say the car was being recalled for a wiring mistake, this needs rectifying asap as the battery could flattern any time ??!!

Anyone else been notified of this problem yet ?

Thanks ... Chris

mine rang me on my mobile ! ... and booked me in with a courtsey car for the day and time i asked for and before i had chance to write the appointment in my phone i recieved a text from the dealer confirming the booking with time and date. I read a lot of people complaining about their dealers etc, but every experience i have had of my dealer has been excellent, and that has been with my 1 series and my 3 series.... respect where its due - Stratstone Hull

Chris, pleased you're still getting good service from Stratstone Sounds like it's a fairly straight forward re-call.

Defo. agree on the biscuits as well. BMW ones are good but did you have any at the OPC when you went? Bloody yummy and different ones everytime I go and you can have as many packets as you want!

If your dealer gives you Bourbons that are the wrong shape walk away. It's a buyers market right now and you don't need to put up with this type of nonsense.

Took my car in today for its first service and I asked about this. I also wouldn't get the letter for a while as the car is registered to the lease company. Anyway they said it didn't apply to mine, Sep 07 build.
