No Amplifier

Uh oh look theres just a CD changer back in the trunk and no amplifier can be found anywhere else in the car lol what exactly runs underseat subs!
The question is how to upgrade it with JUST an amp (Logic7, Lear, Alpine PDA F200 or anything else may FIT) considering the audio system is basic (stereo) with radio professional and no tweeters.
And seems those wires is just for bluetooth module which is missed in my car!

First think to do is to find out what you actually have .
idrive? pro radio? something else we don't get here?
Do a VIN check on one of the free online BMW Vin checkers
to list options.

Identify which stereo system you have.
I am guessing base if there is not amp.

Well its BMW radio professional head unit with basic stereo.
I dont wanna upgrade it to Hi-Fi or higher, I just wanted to know the possibility of adding an aftermarket amp to maxout the output of current OEM speakers and subs?
Already have 2 amps JBL DA1002 and KOiiLER XM9696.
some say equalisation of HU got to be flat before amplifying but idk if my amps may support this function.
Btw i would pay for a brand new amp if its needed and may prevent cutting OEM wires.
Any idea?

Always use a Harness never cut the wires.

https://technicpnp.com/

He has shipped to Europe before don't know what your situation
is if you are in Tehran Iran , is that the case.

The Hi Fi setup isn't that good either . The amp is weak and the
speakers are cheap . Technic's old standard mod for that was to add
a Jl 600/6. Almost any aftermarket amp would be better than the stock Hi Fi amp.

I beleieve your amp (provided you have one) will be behind the CD changer. Even if you don't have an amp the harness may be there already.

I guess not, here is a document showing the basic stereo is powered by just an IC in HU

HI,

Look at the Audiotec Match PP42 amplifier with plug & play harness.

The amp can sit under/behind your glovebox and will plug in behind the radio in the Fakra connector.

Then you sit with a PC in the car and tune the sound untill you are happy and this will give you AMAZING results!

no need to invent solutions it is all ready here!

That link was helpful bro
Conclusion of searching much on the web:
1-im gonna need a 6 channel amp or two 4 channels to power all the speakers in the car.
Or maybe powering front speakers with a x4 amp and leaving rears connected to HU
2-mid ranges are garbo but kinda impossible to retrofit bcuz of OEM speaker rings
3-im gonna need a processor to flat the equaliser. The other way is recoding the car

Look i found a useful diagram in one the links you've sent before

Ive seen this before on bimmertechs.
It costs $1100 but still freaking awesome.
You have it installed on your car?

I have installed 9 different Helix or Match amplifiers in BMW and Mini cars now.

Latest was a PP86 in a E87 M-sport (my GF's car).

I build the plug & play cable myself, but it is as the bimmertech solution.

In our E91 I have the PP62 + an Kenwood for the subwoofer. The car was with Base system, so I designed a full plug & play harness for this. The car is not fully done yet, but on the way.

In my E93 I have the high end PSix DSP MK2 with a plug & play harness. This one is on the 'operation table' at the moment, since it is a bigger install..

Apart from this I have build 2 other E93's, a F11, a E91, a E92 and a Mini R56.
I simply love working with the Audiotec Fischer DSP amplifiers. Th eresult has been stunning each time.

If you are away from the easy plug & play solution and on the way in the more complex solution with part or fully active systems, then again I recommend DSP based amps....

4 channel: benefit is a huge upgrad, but only 2 channels to front system = it is same signal for woofers and doors = you can get improvements, but are limited by the door speakers.

6 channel: benefit is you can use 2 channels for the under seat woofers and seperate the signal from the doors with the DSP & filters.
negative: you need to work on the cables and lay new cables to underseat woofers.

8 channel: benefit you can use the 8 channels for tweeters, midranges, underseat & rears - Huge flexibility in settings and adjustments,
negative: much more installation work.
should only be done with upgraded speakers!!

Great im writing a pro!
In my case a 4 channel must be good enough due to low level OEM speakers idk
Btw bimmertech claims they reprogrammed and customised audiotec's 8ch amp especially for BMW and it comes with plug&play harness and a bracket which costs me extra $200
Wish i could buy the 4ch amp and bimmertech's accessories separately but that harness must be designed for the 8ch amp
Any idea?

Chris youre my only hope...
As you mentioned the 4 channel amp is the easiest solution therefore the best for me

1-would you plz draw me wiring diagram on a paper or sth?
Whats anticipated if the x4 amp just power front speakers and subs (separately) and leaving rear speakers connected to HU?
2-since no speakers gonna be changed, do i need any OEM be like connectors? To prevent cutting wires.
3-and finally do i necessarily need DSP to flat EQ in case of using another amp instead MATCH
Thx

Hi

sry for the replytime - work are taking all my free time...

You actually only need the PP41 amplifier with the BMW harness, then it is plug & play.
If you later need / want to add a subwoofer it is just to add the PP sub amp and code the DSP in the amp.

Yes - coding your radio to 676 would be a benefit, but you can save the cost and do the correction in the DSP of the AMP.

hope this helps.

// Chris

Except the PP41 is only presets and not freely configurable like the 62/82/86.

Pay attention to me if you are not an Audio head.

Perform the Alpine Upgrade. This will include tweeters for front, front mids, and amp. Then find some L7 underseat subs. I just installed them last night to this exact set up and OMG. They are amazing!!!!!!!

I did the Alpine kit originally with HiFi but somehow they blew. They were good and major improvement from base but now I see what the audio heads mean. The L7 is louder and much more "clean" sound to it no matter how loud bass beats. FYI: I listen to mostly r&b and hip hop.

Im thinking about doing something for the rear speakers when I get use to current sound... I may buy another amp for a sub in trunk and rears. All depends but I'm honestly truly satisfied. The only thing left is to have HU coded. Anyone????

unless you have access to going behind this

Anyway, the pre-programmed settings compensate for this as well. Else you send me the raw file, then I modify it for you.

BTW, nice setup you run!!

Rubbish!

The Alpine set was OK when it came out, but many of the new systems overdo it to better cost.

I was speaking about general consumers. I am quite deep into these products as well and move quite a bit of them.

Thanks ! Changed vehicles but #3 and 4 MX4s are still with me.

Alpine Kit 350
L7 Subs 100
DIY Free ....
Coding TBD

450 sounds good to me for such a major improvement.
