Anyone in this forum work somewhere where you could get me this blackberry storm? Or does anyone know where i can get one since every place ive been to is a pain in the ass to get one?

its not that bad. theres a slight learning curve as there is with almost any new phone with new technology.

I wanted to replace my Curve with it....... But sadly it fell short of expectations for me..

There is a noticeable lag when changing between screens which gets pretty annoying if you like to move quickly between calendar, BBM, notepad, Email .. etc...

The OS was not designed around the touch screen so it leaves more to be desired...

I might have to wait until they release some updates to speed things up a bit.

I'm sorry but the BOLD is definitely better than the STORM, minus the touchscreen....

Waited in line at 6am, got it, hated it. Returned it and reactivated my curve. Wait a few months until the bugs are ALL worked out, or wait for the bold

two of my boys have the phone and even after the update they still hate it ... its mad slow, freezes up all the time, gets stuck in camera mode for some reason when they change the direction they are typing (vertical to landscape) and a bunch of other little things ...o and its a PITA to type on... iphone 3G FTMFW!

Storm is not worth it...but then again it's their first attempt, give them some time and they'll come up with a better version.

I was ready to replace my Curve with it but after trying the Storm for 10 mins I was disappointed, it's too damn slow. Switching to a Bold instead, I can finally be on a call and send emails at the same time (Curve can't do that).

just ordered the storm on fri. Supposed to be shipped out on the 17th got an email today saying it was shipped already and I should be expecting it on thurs.

The storm does this. This is my first Blackberry so I can't compare. After the update it seems to work really well. No freezing or lag between apps. I've been slowly getting addicted. Especially to BBM. The internet on it is really fast too. Again, I've never had the Curve/Pearl/Bold, so I can't compare. My friend with an Iphone says the video quality is much better on the Storm though.

Go spend 5 mins with a Bold and I guarantee you the Storm will feel very sluggish. Or better yet, don't, since this is your first BB I don't want to spoil it for you, enjoy it as much as you can

Glad to see email and phone work in parallel on the Storm too, this has been bugging me forever as I'm stuck on long conf.calls every day and can't use email at the same time on the Curve.

i have the record i had it the storm for 13 hours and returned it lol probably the worst phone i ever owned, I'll buy it in a year once they fixed everything its not even the firmware that sucked, but the overall build quality of the phone is bad. I don't know the only reason why i could see people loving this phone is because they can't get a iphone lol. instead i got a LG dare which rocks!!!!
