Hey guys,

Do any of u have some ticking noise during idle? I do not think its that wastegate problem. When im reving its fine but at idle has some annoying ticking.. my car did this right from the beginning when i first got it.. Just wonder if you guys have it as well. if i just sit there and listen to the car idle for a few min.. cold or hot.. it goes away and comes back and just keeps doing that.

IS THIS NORMAL?!

It's the fuel injection. Direct injection engines tend to be ticky like that.

ahh good thing.. just wanted to make sure there is nothing wrong with my car before I install my JB3

ticking's normal, it's the sound of the fuel being shot into the piston chambers..

it becomes most apparent to me when i'm at a drive-thru and the sound's bouncing off the wall of the mcdonald's.. hahahah

YOu GOT IT ALREADY!? u got the PNP one right? We can work on it together if you want Saturday.. I HOPE mine comes by tomorrow. tracking says it was shipped out on Monday.

Did you get boost gauge too? I can install that one for you .. I did mine it was quick and easy

No, I only got the pin out one! if they ship it out on Monday then I bet you will get it after the holiday! They send out to me on Nov 28 and I received last night!!!!

No, I didn't order the boost gauge, I thought it wasn't release yet! I meant the from BMS.

I think becuase you were at the bottom of the group buy list..
but i got tracking number already and their shipments are usually pretty quick.

for the boost gauge before the tracking info got updated my package was at my door. haha

I hope its not the lifters. but cummon.. its a brand new BMW...i only got 7000km's on it. and i even changed the oil already..
The ticking comes on and off.. u hear it doing something .. probably somethin to do with injectors. u'll never hear the ticking insidde the car while driving or even stopped at a light with windows down. you gota be beside something that will allow the soudn to echo or if you stand outside infront of the hood.

I HOPE ITS NOT THE DAM LIFTERS.
