I vote Tundra...... 13000K on mine 0 issues good fuel mileage and every magazine out there says it is the quickest and fastest both loaded and un loaded. They are very overbuilt and are actually comparable to a Domestic 3/4 ton for example: 13.9" 4Piston front brakes, 13.6" rear disc brakes, 10.5" rear axle, 381HP / 401LB/FT 5.7 32 Valve V8, 6 Speed Auto with manumatic mode, huge ball joints, tie rods and tie rod ends. It is a very overbuilt unit. Although some say the interior is cheap looking I don't agree. My loaded Limited tundra is beautiful inside.... maybe not as nice as a Denali or the 09' F-150 but pretty damn nice.
For their ability as a truck they are pretty hard to fault. And, you have Toyota Service when you have issues which is pretty well the best in the industry. ![]()

The off center- center console just was a put off for me. I started off thinking I was getting another Tundra, but the Titan just pushed the right buttons.
The Tundra drove very nice though. Your truck looks great in white. |

In any case, nobody can complain as it's still an American built truck so he's doing a good thing for the US economy

I have to admit my friend's Titan is bad ass. Its a black/black crew cab and has everything but nav. It is actually making me a little jealous. I can't believe he got it for $28k ($39k sticker plus $10k off from the dealer and negotiated down another $1k).....

I have a 93 toyota 4x4 (4 cylinder 5 speed manual) with 258,000 miles and it is still going strong. It has had 3 break jobs and just ONE new clutch in 15 years. That truck is bulletproof.
My '06 Tundra has serious brake issues and serious transmission problems. Bigger? Yes Much Better? No way. Read all the truck comparisons. The Titan consistently ranks above the Tundra. LOOK at the 2 trucks on the inside. The Titan is a much more expensive looking and feeling truck, and it drives better too. The Tundra feels tinny, and as the video shows, isn't put together very well either. |

opinions opinions, I had an armada(which is the same as titan on the inside) and it was nice. I grew to like the inside of the tundra. its till a great truck and everyone I know with a titan is planning on getting a tundra.
the test linked above was obviously a ford paid test. the tundra does have a light rearend but its not hard to fix it.

Isn't it funny how the grass is always greener on the other side?
The Toyota dealers in my area are really seedy. The Nissan dealer one of the best in the country. I think the thing that rubbed me wrong with the last truck was that Toyota didn't stand behind it when things started to go wrong. This was a 45K truck we are talking about. I think part of the problem is our local BMW dealership is so damn good, that over the years we have become spoiled. The folks at BMW bend over backwards to make things perfect, and it isn't an act... they really care. It is always a pleasure to go there. So far, the TITAN is awesome. |

by the way, not sure how you said the tundra feels tiny? I guess you had an 06. Mine is an 08 and by far bigger then most the other trucks out there. another reason I got it, its huge in the rear seat, they even recline. but yeah to each his own, I had a 2000 tundra before and loved it as well.
and yes you get spoiled with BMW service. however toyota took care of the problems I had with my truck but I didnt always get a loaner, haha.
