LA-Southbay Tint
Where is a good place to tint in the Southbay? I live in Palos Verdes near Torrance and Redondo Beach. Is there a place that does bake-on? Know of a place that will do all windows? Thanks guys.

Yep, that's where I grew up. Um... don't know any good shops in the southbay that'll do Huper Optik. Not sure if that's what you're looking for. I went to Song's Tintshop in K-town, and they did an awesome job for my HO tint. Not sure what bake on is....

"Bake on"
I guess what I mean by bake on is what was done to my e46. The glass is completely removed from the car (the glass that can, which are the door windows). From what I understand, or at least what the shop told me, the tint is "baked" on edge to edge in an oven . That's really nice so you don't have the aftermarket look with the gapped edge. Problem is, I lost the paperwork of that place. Ooops...

Don't know where you can get it baked on.
But...I did get mine done at A1 Tint Doctor in Carson. Did a great job on mine...I got 3M tint.

Talk to David at Status Auto Design in hermosa beach. Tell him that Gio sent you. He has a guy that does tint really well. No air bubbles at all between the defroster lines. The only problem is that the tint guy charges $600 dollars for huper optik or madico ceramic tint.
