These truly are the last days. I was reading Newsweek and they were saying "Cheney and Co. have 15months to convince Bush to bomb Iran, because the next President will be to wimpy to do it"

Hell they've been saying these are 'the last days' since 378 AD after the battle of Adrianople (Goths vs. the Romans). Take politics (and political commentary) with a HUGE grain of salt.

Cool map. I think some of the dense red suburban areas are going to start turning more purple and blue in '08.

Iran isn't of concern to us, if we decide to let them wipe Israel of the face of the Earth as Iran has ON TAPE stated many times. However, it is believed that War with Iran would likely prove unnecessary as they would be easier to defeat through economic/trade means. Don't expect us to get into a real war with these guys unless the next president is an idiot, this one doesn't have the time or desire for another war.

I suspect he'll be a one-hit wonder, the Iowa caucases are unique and can create anamolies. Wait to see how he and Barak are doing when the Florida, California et. al. primaries come into play. The other thing to remember is Clinton has her fingers on a whole bunch of 'superdelegates' for the Democratic convention (and the Dems utilize more superdelegates than the Repubs do). If she's within reach before the convention, she'll be hard to beat.

As for me - based on what I've seen so far - I'm voting for 'none-of-the-above'. ; -)

Tiss Tiss.....ATR..its spelt Barack. There is this popular psychic on tv is VERY convincing. She comes on once a week. She said Barack would get the Dem. presidential nomination last week. I'm curious to see if she's right. If not, she lost ALL credibility...haha

I find it amazing. CNN did a break down of the ages that voted for him. The older you got the least amount voted for him. 65 and older was so tiny. It was amazing. The fact that he won in that state shows that Americans are sure being bold these days. My .02

Our new President will not have traditional American values in mind. At best we'll get stuck with some socialist-lite neo-con. Current Democratic candidates pander to the Left while current Republican candidates are so frightened of 'offending' the New York Times they have moved to the left of JFK. America is so screwed...

This was a pre-Iowa poll. New Hampshire should be VERY interesting.

Something wrong if a free-thinker rather then an oppressive, "back-in-my-day..." leader?

And what's wrong with a little left?...the most extreme version is based on the simplest, and brightest of idea...that everyone shares the load equally, and is treated the same...the problem is people. Lazyiness, greed, and corruption will never allow "true" communism to ever succeed....think about it, a real communist society, there'd be no idiot in charge anymore.

But seriously, care to explain how this election will "screw America"...generally a politician is a politician. They'll all say whatever they think you want to say, and once in power, nothing will really change.

That said, there's got to be some back-water hillibilies wiping their eyes with their white hoods to see a "black" man and a woman as the favorites to win...

Go Obama :headbang:

...Oh wait, I'm not an American...
