Paintjob recommendation in NY? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I need help guys....

I live in New York and I've been all over the place looking to get my trunk spoiler and roof spoiler painted together. I've been to the shop called Bodyworks Unlimited as well as a local autobody shop. Bodyworks quoted me 200!! and the local shop said it would be anywhere from 400-500. They all try to rip me off... i remember reading someone had been quoted 100 for painting both pieces. The two guys i spoke to both said that they needed to do some molding to get perfect fitment and sanding... (that stuff is so easy to do). And then they said they had some way of baking the paint. All sounds like theyre trying to squeeze as much money out as possible.

To anyone who is in NY/NJ. Where did you guys get your paintjobs done at? And how much. No way in hell I'm spending 400+ on painting these things.:mad:

Not from the area but seems like $400 might be too much since there are only 2 pieces. I had a full aero kit painted for $350.

Lookup the guys (Joe or Bill) at Creative Auto in Garden City Park. The address is 115 Fulton Ave and they are located in the vicinity of the abandoned Pergament off of Jericho Tnpke.

I had a rear deck spoiler (painted and installed on my Acura) by them, think it was around $350.
They are excellent with paintwork.

Go to Life Quality Body Shop at 933 Remsen Avenue in Canarsie Brooklyn. (718)346-9420. They're an authorized BMW body shop-had my Passat repaired and painted there and they did a GREAT

job. Paint blended right,no hazing-NOTHING:rocks:
Oh yea-and right across the street is their BMW dealership

You're too far East. Closest landmarks are Burger King and Exxon. Actually Exxon is on the corner of Marcus Ave and Jericho Tnpke. So if you're on Marcus Ave, the Exxon is on your right. Cross over Jericho Tnpke and you wll get to a point where it becomes a dead end, you will need to make a left or right turn. Make a left turn, thats Fulton Ave. Creative Auto is on the right!
