NEED RECOMMENDATION -> Autobody Shop In New York

I need help guys....

I live in New York and I've been all over the place looking to get my trunk spoiler and roof spoiler painted together. I've been to the shop called Bodyworks Unlimited as well as a local autobody shop. Bodyworks quoted me 200!! and the local shop said it would be anywhere from 400-500. They all try to rip me off... i remember reading someone had been quoted 100 for painting both pieces. The two guys i spoke to both said that they needed to do some molding to get perfect fitment and sanding... (that stuff is so easy to do). And then they said they had some way of baking the paint. All sounds like theyre trying to squeeze as much money out as possible.

To anyone who is in NY/NJ. Where did you guys get your paintjobs done at? And how much. No way in hell I'm spending 400+ on painting these things.

lol this is probably late, but good for those who want to know. Kos-Tom is a great certified BMW collision bodyshop. His work is amazing! I had two hits, one hit on my bumper, and everyone told me I would have to replace it, and another on the passenger side door, right on the body line you can not tell anything, it looks brand new, not even the slightest notice. I honestly wouldnt trust anyone else, his prices are great. They showcase crashed cars redone by him, i couldnt believe it. If anyone has anything they need to be done, send me a PM, and ill give you the adress and phone number. Trust me, there the best.

tell them that you are trying to put it on a civic or something lol. They like to do the whole thing where if its bmw, merc, audi and so on, you ahve to throw your wallet at them. I hate that.

he is not overpriced whatsoever. he is a huge bmw fanatic aswell, he is currently working on a e30 m3. He recently restored a 850Csi V12, in manual, the car is still worth around 77000. BMW only made under 100 i believe in manual. You have nothing to lose to check him out, get a price, whatever, tell him Chris sent you and im sure he will give you a good deal. I am not in no way just saying this, my dealer recommended me to him, and ever since he did my car and my friends, i wouldnt trust anyone else. He has a top of the line shop, when you walk in you will know ur in the right place. Ask him to show you other works he did, he has alot of pictures, hes worked with famous people, high end cars, etc. Trust me when i tell you, he is the best.

anybody in brooklyn had been each of those shops before or had any experiences?
