I would say the earliest we would recieve the kit would be NEXT weekend anyway. I believe mds still has to fabricate the kit for each of us first... I am axiously waiting for him to post his information up on how to purchase...

Try and check in every so often so that we are the first set of orders to go through. That way he might be able to crank out ours as the first set to go out...

Can anyone with a large driveway host our group LUX install/meet?? I live in a condo so no driveway space and AJ has a townhouse, also without ample driveway space. Right now, AJ had suggested the use of a elementary school parking lot in Ashburn, VA...

Well... my driveway will fit 4 cars (2 cars side by side. 2 rows)
if you don't mind driving to Laurel, MD.

Ahhh new concerned owner, I hear you my friend.

From the sound of it, the lux kits should turn out to be a quality piece. The whole thing behind the angel eyes lighting system is pretty basic. You have a light source, a bracket/holder for the light source, the diochric lens & holder. The rings themselves are a little like fibre optics so that when a source of light is introduce the whole ring lights up. Based on questions and description wit mds82, he employed the use of new to the market phillips lux bulbs (led type or style) which emits a strong but cool light (high intensity bulbs) that plugs into the existing connections. So its essentially a plug and play proposition.

He modeled it after the kits that are already on the market but are retailing for $350 and above.

Any quality concerns upon receipt of the items will definitely be chimed in by AJ, as you already know he is very particular of things that come on his ride

So the absolute earliest we are looking is the weekend of the 17th (assuming we get the parts in the minimum of 2 weeks), and probably on the safe side the 24th for the LUX ring install.

Still waiting on Donny and G to order... then thats 5 of the 10 mds needs to order parts for just in the DC crew...

On the subject of Lux rings, payment sent...that makes 2. Yep apparently there is a 2-3 week lead time as each set is custom made. Wonder if we can track our order?
