Merry Christmas everyone! All in all, a good day - confirmed my new apartment with a January move-in date, and picked up a 335 Sedan! Whoo hoo... now, how long for the break-in period????? The first MINI was 4 days (yeah, I averaged 300 miles a day; it was summer!); the second took a couple weeks I think.
I've got the o/u pegged at Dec 29 - I have to run down to Norfolk, stand duty, and then run back to Passport to finish up stuff. That's 1200-ish miles right there.

Hey guys,
I aswell will be moving in to the NoVa (Clarendon) area on january 13th or so. Picked up a 335i in September, and looking to meet you guys at meets/auto-x's/track days, etc... Always up for social occasions aswell. Cant wait to take the METRO all day.....

HI ALL DC Metro's -- I am NEW on this site and soon to be proud 335i owner (on 1/19 taking Performance Center Deliver in SC). A few questions:
1) Any of you taken PC Delivery? What to expect, like/dislike? 2) How's the drive home to NoVA from SC?? 3) Any e92 owners out there want to give me some feedback? 4) How do you join this secret club? When's the next meeting? - I know this sounds really foolish, but I cannot WAIT to get this car, and cannot wait to meet other owners...to exchange stories and custom ideas... I really want to do wheels/tires, custom lighting, and maybe BMW aero kit (avail yet?) -- any ideas?? Thanks all!! I cannot wait to tear up Ashburn in the new car!!

Haven't been through the PC yet, but I'm about to sign up for the Feb class - this beast is a lot different than the properly tuned MINI's that I've had.
My question is this? Should I go through the dealer to get the Clear Bra, or is there someone else that is beeter/just as good? Thanks, Doug

Guess who hit 5,000 posts
Just wanted to share that with your folks. Well its a stupid milestone, representative of much unproductive time at work. BUT at the same time, it is within those 5,000 posts: -I have gotten to know a lot of great people (too many to list here but you all know who you are), especially within the DC metro community. Folks I've enjoyed spending time with, both here and offline. (Too many to list...) The level of camraderie is high among us.- Got to be a part of awesome meets and other fun offline events (Bunnyman bridge for one )- Shared a lot of laughs! - Learnt life lessons through the generous sharing of life experiences within the hallowed pages of this forum. - Got educated on the E90 along with indepth orientation of pricing, order tracking, ship tracking and modding. - Enjoyed some awesome media (pics, video etc) Its been a wild 12 months!! Here's to another 5,000 posts. DC metro this 5,000th post is for you!

Congratulations. I've learned a lot from you (as well as the other usual suspects from DC Metro), which made easier my selecting, ordering, and enjoying my E90. We've not met yet, but I hope to remedy that at the car show.

I'm from the DC area (Big-time Skins fan) but I'm now in Colorado until I graduate. I'm about to get my 335i sedan, so I figured I should say thanks for the advice and information you all post on the website--it answered many of the questions I had before the purchase.
