NYC e90 meet!! Help pick a date and show some support! - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I say Floyd Bennett Field Brooklyn, NY its exit 11n off the Belt Parkway. Its part of the Gateway National Recreation Area. Tons of open space and parking, not much else around though! Im going to go over there this weekend and find out the rules about bbqing. I know they have some park benches setup in one location. Anyone interested?? Possible Dates(June 24th weekend and July 1st is a no go for me!!)? June 17th or 18th?? July 2nd?? JulyOther locations?? Ill bring my e90 and my Canon Rebel XT SLR.

Moderators please if possible leave this here for a day or two. The regional section doesnt get viewed much. I appologize ahead of time.

Past experience with such meets has shown we need to use a central location, such as the Englewood Boat Basin, which is convenient to everyone.

Otherwise, it is too far a drive for many people.

Proof of point: the dismal Jones Beach turnout weeks ago.

We can do at meet a SUNKEN MEADOWS BEACH in Long Island it's about 45-1hr drive from the city...And YES you can BBQ no problem, and if ppl want after they can go to the beach it's really a nice area and the beach isn't bad at all, mostly a family beach of eastern europeans and some spanish ppl and locals but the area is great the scenery is great also...if interested we can all set up a date and go there, it'll be much better then going at some park here atleast we can BBQ GET STUFFED and go swimm and burn some calories!
