My 1st PS attempt, need advice!!!

hey guys, today i tried PS 4 the 1st time in my life, the only thing i knew was how 2 cut part of the pic n do "layer via copy", i saw couzn do it once

so,,,, what do u think???

please i need advise n cretisizem, it would b beneficial....

i know i made one noticible mistake, i didnt cut the edges of the car well

the art of photoshopping a picture is to make the transition between real and shopped parts so seamless you can barely tell the picture's alterations were just an afterthought. with what you have it's very obvious you just selected an area around the car and applied some effects on it. it almost seems as though as the car is just cut and pasted on top of the blurred image.

the key to PS is to learn how to create layers and how to blend the different layers together. if you really want to learn how to use PS I suggest buying a book. i am currently going through this book.

thanx 4 the advise, any recommended web sites, its hard 4 me 2 get any book here, & ordering through internet is not an option for me
