Run conditions were less than ideal (hot day, increased humidity). Yet, regardless of this, our dyno runs were still generally on par and occasionally better than what would be expected as calculated from factory specs within statistical margin of error.

So the numbers were right on the money.

I have never heard of a modern auto (exsp. 6 speed one) that has a 25% loss. 4-wheel drive cars are typical of such a loss but not on a RWD car. I am coming from an Infiniti G35 sedan which was an 03 model (260 hp) and I had exhaust intake that i am pretty sure was putting down 220+to the wheels. The car was auto and ran a 14.500@97.8mph. Stock for stock both auto my g35 was only rated 5hp more. I am a little sad to see sub 200RWHP for an auto 330i. I hope in the future we will have more dyno tests so I can get a feel for what the car really puts down.

Just because you never heard it, doesn't mean it doesnt exist.

Have you ever dynoed your G and just dont remember for "sure" what the dyno numbers were or are you just "pretty sure" your G was putting 220 whp because you have an accurate ass meter, or your friends/family have a similiar setup and they actually dynoed their car? Or are you a rags(Magazines) numbers expert?

Same question with the 1/4 time slip you posted.

Also, all 330 with steps that participated in this are real and what they put down was "real" too.

If you didnt already sell your G, maybe you should keep it?

Why do you mention I should keep my G if I did not sell it yet? I have the BMW for a reason and am aware it is not the fastest car in the 1/4th and perfectly happy with that. And yes I have time slips of my car from the 1/4th, I have gone to the track about 5 times over the past 3 years and it runs 14.500@97.XX. As far as the Dynos they have been posted by others with the same setup all over the internet.

You mention all the 330i steps, are there going to be more then one to post the results? I am just trying to gather information and an avg # of what a step 330i puts down.

Oh and BTW, who the hell is Gale Banks Engineering?

There were 3 330i steps...all did similarly....and all less than 330i manuals.

I am very happy with my car's performance........plus, it looks freaking hot with its new headlights...just look at that teaser!!

I was already itching on that and I even mentioned it in a post a while back that it would make it look alot cleaner because of the ends keep coming up!
My body shop guy recommended it to me when he saw the ends were rising so They were not the only ones to think of that!

You can organize an open invitation for a Florida dyno event, and contribute some dyno results yourself. By the way, it's Fathers Day and I cannot post all the videos and dyno test results in a matter of a few hours.

I put a lot of effort organizing this event, am uploading, editting videos, compiling dyno results, being respectful of those who wish to keep their results confidential, and posted this event as an invitation for weeks for anyone who wanted to attend and participate.

Each participating member was given three test runs, and we managed to test 8 cars total. Additionally, an e46 M3 with a MilTech exhaust and intake put 255 hp to the rear wheels, which may seem low to you as well.

I have gone to lengths to be scientific about this within the confines of what we have to work with. This data I am posting is objective, and though you're entitled to expressing your opinions, the purpose of this thread is to give fellow members some insight about dynamometer testing, our E90s, but most importantly, to have some fun sharing our love and enthusiasm for our cars.

p.s. in answer to one of your concerns, keep checking the top 3 posts of this thread. So far, I have posted magmd and jbjwc's dyno results, both of whom have 330i steps. jbjwc has +1 rims without the heavy RFTs, and this small variable may have some impact on results.
