You seem to be a little disappointed with the power numbers, but you shouldn't be. Those dyno test numbers are significant in that they will help us--those who have had their cars tested--ascertain which mods
we do in the future enhance or diminish performance. These numbers are baseline performance figures. Our E90s are what they are, like it or not.

The intent of this thread was not directly about comparisons from different dynos, different run conditions (temp, humidity, elevation), different cars of different makes, 1/4-mile times, terminal velocity, etc.

Okay, now for some fun stuff. Mike from Technik mentioned that their company will soon be introducing some performance offerings for our E90. Stage I: Induction, re-worked ECU, Stage II: Header back exhaust system, Stage III: supercharger and/or turbocharger.

So if we decide to invest in something like this, how cool would it be to go back and dyno again after modding?

Btw, Danny is one of the nicest guys we know here. He organized and put together the awesome NorCal/SoCal meet a few weeks back, took time away from his wife and son to show us around San Francisco, is good humored, and totally not about ego. Let's not get judgmental here. If you met him person, you'd feel differently.

I wasnt there in time to see the presentation of there E90 and didnt get to see under the hood!
Can anyone tell me what they had done to it or was it Topsecret?

I have been intrigued by the numbers put down (while certailny within reason). From even someone who did not attend the meet, I appreciate the work that you and your group put in getting the meet together and posting videos and results on the forum.

Wish I could have gone down and dyno'ed my car. Thanks for posting the dyno results too. I've always wondered how much HP the E90 generates at the wheels.

I can see there's a lot of effort going into organizing and attending events like this (especially those from out of town), so Great job guys, appreciate your work.

I was looking at your dyno results and was surprised at the air/fuel ratio. Your car ran very lean compared to ours, but I was also surprised to see the dramatic fuel enrichment beyond 5600 rpm.
