Small setback on the fmic project. the sample cast units came in but the mounting tab was a hair off from where we had it in the drawing. Most people might not care but we do and we are not going to sell a part unless it has perfect fitment. Stay tuned, this should not be that big of a setback.

So 12-14 weeks will put us in the middle of May. Does this expected release date still seem reasonable? Looks like the exhaust and intercooler might be finishing up around the same time..

Well the cast end tanks take a little wile more than likely about 8 weeks from now. The Exhaust should be ready to go by mid may according to the muffler shipment.

We will be modifying this core to put it on my car for testing purposes. I will keep everyone posted. Chris (tuner) is in Hawaii on a tuning trip until wednesday (lucky SOB) When he gets back we will throw a tune on it with the CP-E Standback we have on the car now. Which by the way is AWESOME!!!

We welded up that flawed end tank so we can fit it on the car and test clearances and what not. Looks pretty damn mean! Mid next week we should have some performance numbers behind it as well

Drove around with it all weekend and although we have not done a back to back dyno comparison with comprable IAT's and what not the car pulls STRONG. The car is pulling harder and faster then it has ever been. Considering I picked the car up in the winter and it hit almost 80 here this weekend making it the warmest conditions I have ever driven the car in...that says a lot.

Oh and I think with the FMIC on now I can officially say I own an AMS car lol. I had people rubber necking all over the place with the shiny AMS front mount poking out my front bumper. Definitely an attention getter

I will have some off the car pics later on tomorrow when Brian finishes water marking them and what not. Later this week when Chris gets back we will do a back to back comparison to see some real world gains

would never remove the mesh .. think about all debris hitting and destroying the IC!!!

that small amount of stock mesh isn't going to protect the FMIC.
