Idea for the GTA crowd - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hey guys, I came across this thread http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=225957 and thought it would be a great idea to have our own gear for the ppl in the GTA. We were talkin about having our own e90post stickers a while ago...any idea what happened to that idea? If we have a logo to go with maybe we can get our own made locally. Im not much of an organizer, artist or "go to guy" for connections on getting this ball rolling so if anybody wants to help get this off the ground feel free to chime in help out.

Well dont pat me on the back just yet as this is just an idea, but Im sure somebody can help me get this going. i was checkin' out some printing shops from Toronto online and the cost for just the hoodies alone seems to be really cheap for great quality. Roughly $20-$25 for the hoodies. I'll see what more info I can get n hopefully others can do the same

If you guys are happy with the design in the original thread then we can go with that, but I would really really like to have our user names stitched into the upper right part of the hoody.

Alrighty, made a little progress. I contacted a few printing companies who also sell hoodies and so far one has responded. I requested a quote for the hoodies in this link: http://www.customink.com/styles/cana...atshirt/150300. Using the design made in the original thread I was qoted $45 if we get 50 made. Also, that does not include the embroidered names. I requested a quote...still waiting! Wa cha think, a bit high? Another place also responded to my e-mail, but mentioned that their printing capabilities area 14"x15" max...is this large enough for the back?

One more prob I ran into is, that they requested the original artwork files because they cannot work from the image provided. I am trying to get the originals, but if I can't get em we are gonna need someone to help make us new designs. All you art majors chime in please!

2 Thoughts:

Perhaps it would be more cost effective, and garner more interested, if we started with a T-shirt instead of sweat shirt?
A run of white shirts, graphite design... and graphite shirts, white design?

Also, if the artwork needs to be redone... perhaps add a T.O. somewhere, and also something resembling a roundel or some angel eyes? I wouldn't mind taking a go at it, but I'd need a couple of weeks... seems recession or not, people still want home theaters!

Thanks for your help. I dunno if we are allowed to put a BMW roundel on the shirts....

. As far as price goes, Im still working on that. I duuno bout the T-shirt idea, but if the majority wants T's then so be it.

Im still working on getting a better price from other suppliers and if we can get the order number higher, I can get the price down even further. I am hoping to get it down to $30-$35. What we need more than wnything right now is the actual artwork and the rest will fall into place.
