one question i forgot to ask Hunter on the other thread. Is your cut off any different vs the US DOT optics?

usually US cut off is more like ___--- whereas the ecodes are more like ___/--- if you get my meaning

E-Codes usually have a higher cut-off and the flare is on the other side unless it's switchable internally. Per "Automotive Lighting FAQ" website:

"...A projector headlamp might have a turnable reflector so that the flare turns up on the other side. But that is only possible if the cutoff line is a straight V form. Many projector lamps have a "Z" beam, and you should be able to flip the shield around. Flipping the shield will lower the total output, because the reflector and shield are designed to work as a pair..."

^^^that is correct...most ecodes made these days are switchable from LHD to RHD w/ a mere flap. So what I wanted to know is does the cut off match the US cutoff?

I dont think so. Euro specs have a more intense cutoff than US DOT lights.

Have you thought of trying to sell your US amber lights on eBay? I'm sure someone in Europe is looking for that American look...
