you should do whatever YOU want with your car.
in terms of aesthetics, a well-made quad looks nice or even better, going with something like this?

Did you get the extension pipe from Remus or is it custom made?

Haha, the 335 came out a year after the 325 and the 330 son. Quads were on these beautiful cars before the 335 was even a thought.

No poser, No rice.

It is your money, do whatever you want. Just don't expect everyone to give you 'propz' because not everyone agrees with modifying a base model car for cosmetics only

if you get it custom, and the additional side of the exhaust is functional,

but extension tips that don't do anything are a bit silly imo. but everyone's taste is different so just do what you want.

What is the brand of the exhaust you used for the 335 exhaust conversion on a 328.. or is it custom?

^^ Most likely custom.

I am not really fond of making your car "look" like a 335i. Seems a little poserish to me. If your going to make your car look mean, put some quads meant for the 328 on there. They look much better IMO. Especially when people find out your car is in fact not a 335.

Indeed it is custom...

Papa13
Just as a fyi: the 335d also have a twin exhaust. I personally am not ashamed to put them on my car at all - i am 0,1s slower than a 335d and with the custom exhaust and automatik (the 335d automatik is standard), I am just as expensive as a 335d. So why did i not get a 335d in the first place? 1l more consumption, older common rail technology causes the engine to vibrate more and about 50 EUR more a month in road tax and insurance (EUR 250 instead of EUR 200)...

oh ja - these are 90 mm tips and not the standard 76mm of a 335...

Putting quads = m3 poser then, following the logic. And it doesn't really matter if m3 quads are closer together, quads on bmw are "meant" to be M.

In the end, new Mercedes c-class comes standard with dual exhaust, and Infiniti M series come with quads as standard. Exhaust tips are all purely for cosmetics. Once you start slappin M badges and AMG badges, now THAT's poserish.
Term "rice" isn't applicable to german cars, imo.
