Place to go in Ontario - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

My friend is coming to visit me from Japan, and we are planning to go on a road trip within Ontario or Quebec. I was wondering if it's a good time to take a trip to Quebec or any other colder region for that matter, and if it's not such a good idea. Then what would be a logical choice for a short trip?
Any inputs will be greatly appreciated!

Niagara-on-the-lake is good for wine tours.

Overnight stay in Blue Mountain is very nice, especially if you like to ski/snowboard.

If you like to go farther, Montreal is great for party, and Old Montreal is also very nice, but weather now is quite cold. Drive is about 5 to 6 hours depending on how fast you go. If you go even farther, Quebec City is also nice.

How many days do you got? A multi-stop road-trip might be in order, Ottawa is only 4 hours away and Montreal is another 2. Ottawa is good for the History/Tourist-y stuff whereas Montreal has an awesome entertainment and night-life scene.

I'm sorry for not making myself clear.
We'll be leaving from my place in North York. So Toronto. We have a full week for this trip, from 12th to 19th. Anywhere in Ontario or near states is possible option for us. Of course, we'll be cruising in my e92

Don't know if you will get this message on time but you may want to either drive to Montreal and take the train (or drive directly) to Quebec City. Le Carnaval (de Quebec) is on until February 15th. It has a fun atmosphere and a very unique experience, especially if your friend is from out of the country.

Cruise to Niagara on the Lake, take road beside river and head to Niagara Falls (Casino, the Falls, Marineland, some other tourist stuff). If you're doing this in the summer you can also head over to Cherry Avenue farm and pick your own fresh fruits.

If you want to head north you can drive up through Barrie and through Algonquin park (great if you're coming during the Falls season) to Ottawa, Mont Tremblant for some hiking and golf?, Montreal, Quebec City?

For a full week, go up to Montreal!!! If you feel like driving even more, go to Quebec City.

Do prepare to pay for parking everywhere in Montreal however.

That will be useful to know. Couldn't get a budget hotel room in time, so we pushed the departure date to weekdays.
