I knew this one would look good.
Look at those seats! They look like the ones in the C63...? The interior is actual very nice in my opinion. It's graceful, yet it has that old-school blocky Merc feel to it. I'm diggin everything except the rear bumper and the chrome trim. The taillights aren't horrible, but I feel like they do the job with this body.

idk...it's not bad i guess. I just don't understand why they would make an e class coupe when they have the clk. That would be like bmw making a 5 series coupe when they have the 6 series. It defeats the purpose of having the different lineups and classes.

Not good IMO, not sure about proportions, and WTF is it with that side quarter window???!!! Don't tell me they couldn't just put a one piece glass on the sides!!, it looks awful. What I did like is the girl driving it she's HOT! LOL.
Anyway, this kind of semi challenging design that MB is going for is just not my cup of tea, too many lines, too many crossed angles and too much noise without a purpose. I'd rather get an S5 or E92 any day. Dashboard cues remind me of:

I think it looks REALLY good.
Only thing I dont like is the front. I don't hate it, but I'm not crazy about it. The headlights are weird and the LEDs are so randomly placed. Other than that, the side profile is nice and the rear profile is clean. I'm sure it will have lots of road presence. |

It looks OK. I wonder what's their strategy is with all of those engines. Is this going to be something that trys to appeal to drivers across all price ranges? If the AMG is in the $80K+ area, will someone in that price range will want a car that a housewife might get?It certainly minimzes costs for Mercedes if they sell.

I like it better than the 5 series, that's for sure. I'd rock one if the tennis skirt chick in the photos was included.

That's exactly it, just like it's competitors in the same car bracket.
I personally really like it. I nevered liked the oval lights and overall exterior designs of the previous generation mercs. The new stuff coming out revitalizes my love for benz once again. This should be a great car. I'm highly expecting to see a AMG tag on this next year. Loved the trailer for it. |
