Hello @,

I have installed the M3 SMG Knob on my E93, but i have a little Problem
When i turn off the Car in ,for ex. the Garage and i don't close the car with the remote control, only Close the Door, i see that the +,- and the Middle Point lights after a few minutes.

Is this Effect anyone known ?

Many Thanks.

I have all lights working but these?

Completely Plug N Play. Ability to easily adjust and fine-tune the brightness of the shifter R, N, D LEDs (otherwise they are blindingly bright). Also, the wiring harness fits perfectly inside the base plate and conforms to the shape so wires aren't hanging around or get snagged in the mechanical shifting process.

Enjoy

Here's the wiring diagram:
(B = Blue; W = White; M = M3 DCT)

B1 --- M8
B2 --- M2
B3 --- M1
*B4, B6 --- M6, M7, M9*
B5 --- NOT USED

W1 --- NOT USED
W2 --- NOT USED
W3 --- M3
W4 --- M4
W5 --- M5

NOTE: easiest way for B4 and B6 is to first splice those two together, then splice them to a single point splitting up into 3 wires. Those wires will then feed into M6, M7, and M9.

Hope that helps

Hey guys, I have a question. Is it at all possible to use the existing wiring harness in the car and just reassign the pins so that it works with the m5 shift knob? If that is possible then I am guessing I'd only need to make a wire for power? I keep looking at the DIY and I see the female end of the power connection wire going into the power connector under the console but where does the male end of that power connection wire go to?
