im looking to get a tint done, what are the differences in these brands? i dont want something that is reflective..just a nice tint between 25-30%

As far as I know none of these tints are reflective. Thornhills premium tint film is the Lumar and if you have comfort access you will need this one so that it won't interfere with it. Other tints contain metalic particles and mess up the comfort access function. Access ATX is the option you would normally get if you dont have comfort access; however it's the same price. FX's premium tint film is F1 pinacle series and is also ok to use with CA. Here is the info I have on it:

Located in Burlington so might not be able to make the trip - coupe windows need several hours 'up' to cure properly. Anyone in Burl/Oak with alternatives I'd be interested.

I got mine done at Thornhill tints recently and live in Burlington. If you wanted to see how it looks, PM me and we can meet up.

Yup...for now anyway. Richard at Thornhill said that he can't do any better as prices have increased this year. FX told me they would do better, but wanted me to get a better estimate on how many were in the GB before they give me a quote....gay...I know! I think I can get FX to do it for $250 if we get a few people. Also, I think there will be tax on top of those prices. I wish I could do better, but apparently prices have gone up this year...I dont understand how a recession makes the price of tint more expensive, but I dont make the rules here!

not sure but shinzo does...i know there is some interest in this..perhaps another GB?

Ummm I guess so!!! hahaa im not sure cause there doesnt seem to be enough interest. I added you to the list anyhow. I cant wait any longer so Im gonna call to make an appointment next week with Thornhill tint. Ill let Richard know that there are a few of us interested, but I dont think hes gonna provide any discount for such a small group. Sorry for the flop guys
