4th July fireworks - San Diego?
So tomorrow will be my 1st 4th July in San Diego since moving here and I have family in town again (the brits seem to like the weather here for some reason...). Last year I was in NJ/NY (where I used to live).
So after a bit of homework and digging around, I've heard that they do fireworks down in the Big Bay, but where's a good place to see them? I was thinking Seaport Village - one of our family members is age 70+ so I need to find something family orientated and with easy access parking. Any better suggestions? Do I need to get there early? Help/advice much appreciated. ![]()

both mission beach and pacific beach are hot spots, but you definitely have to get there early. You can try Mt. Soledad since it's a high point, but I've never been there during 4th of July.
