Just ran 119.78mph on stock RFTs

Wasn't the quickest ET (12.355 with a 2.1 60')

But did happen to pull off a 12.307 @ 117.61 with 2.0 60')

JB3 1.22 map 8, 103 octane, stock air box, dp's and muffler (and the RFTs of course)

Has anyone got a 1.9 on stock rubber? I don't think it can be done.

I pulled off a 1.99 60' on stock RFT's back when I had 1.1!

But besides that, freaking congrats! Those are amazing numbers to be putting down with the limited mods you have!

Holy Map 8.. isn't that the lagfix or low torque version of Map7 race map? Or did you try Map 7 with 103Octane and find it not as fast?

I knew from just dyno graphs and people talking that map 7 would be a joke on stock rubber. Low torque, high hp is the map.
I made a poll (well a thread really) about what people recommend for my setup.

Oh shit, i forgot to metion the best part. These two runs were done launching out of 2nd gear! 1st run only got a 12.738 cause it just spun!

haha thanks. Just get some high octane fuel and get out without spinning! My first run with the 12.73 was shifting first gear at 4,500rpms

I'm happy, i basicaly wanted to find the limits with the stock RFTs and have some fun while doing it. I think i came close

Awesome record breaking numbers for the minimal modifications that you have!
1.22 map#8 is what gave me my best traps testing this weekend too. 118.2 mph. It is a few tenths faster than my original turbomelter that I tested also. And that was a good mph faster supposedly than the standard map #7 that I ran 117.9 mph on. But numbers don't always add up lately the way I figured they would.

I am going to test the 1.3 7G2 map #8 later on tonight. But for right now, the map you used gave me the best results so far.

Actually the 117.8 mph video I posted is on the JB3 1.22 map #8 :

My car is just not running up to par this weekend, if you can call 118.2 mph weak, LOL.

Its kind of ironic how 2 of the fastest non-tuner cars have the least amount of modifications. I really don't think throwing on DPs, Intercooler, DCI, is going to give you
30 more hp, and have you trapping at over 122mph.

Sweet.

Map 8 is more ideal for street tires than the Map 7.

Having a lot less low end torque but the same high rpm pull as Map 7 makes Map 8 better suited for good hard launches without so much wheelspin.

Results in a little slower ET's (as you saw) but very good trap speeds (as you saw).

High 1.9's are possible on the stock runflats, but it has to be a really good track.
I've seen 1.97 on the average rated General Exclaims on the 313 rwhp original PROcede that was released in February 2007.

It was 77 degrees in the upper east coast today? I'd think it would have to be cooler than that, as it was only mid 60's in So Cal today.

I pulled a 1.89 60' on the stock Bridgestone RFTs in a MT one time (good track prep, during the day) and I have a friend who did a 1.79! 60' on stock Bridgestone RFTs in AT (good track prep, during the day).

Do you have a boost gauge? If so what numbers were you seeing? Also, what was the DA at the times of the runs? Those are some ridiculous trap speeds. Great job.

I pulled 1.9 on RFTs consistently. Key is launch and right amount of air in the tires. Not too little...
