Sunday AM M3 cowl and AFE stage 2 install

Wife and kids gone so I had a little free time this morning. Installed my M3 cowl setup and new AFE stage 2 intake. It really frees up some space under the hood.

Great intake, you will like it. I have the same one. How much did the cowl run you?

I think the plastic pieces were under a $100 from Tischers and the microfilters are another $100 but you can get the filters on Ebay for less than $50 now

I'm sure it will add a few HP once my 335is is broken in and I put my JB4 on. It's pretty quiet so I can still enjoy the lovely sound of my sports exhaust.

Very nice. I think I'm going to order these cowls myself. Did you buy the bmw filters or eBay filters? If eBay could you post the link?

I took the harnesses out of the holder and zip tied them to some existing piping/wiring on the firewall. Work great and looks good

I used the BMW filters but will use the cheaper ones next time. Just search M3 cabin filters.

Clean! Are you able to get to the fourth engine cover bolt without removing the cowl?

I think you can with a small ratchet and allen socket but I haven't tried yet.
