Small problem, Help!!

Im trying to get my stock airbox back in as i need to take my car to the dealer on tuesday

for the life of me i cannot get the rear intake pipe back into the stock airbox

anyone wanna give me some advice or help me to get it back in?

im having a hell of a time. Its drivign me crazy

im in thornhill if anyone wants to stop by on sunday to give me a hand!

I read somewhere that someone had to heat the pipe with a blow dryer to make it soft enough to fit back in.

If you have a aftermarket intake, a lot of people have left it on with no problems with the dealership.

ok just got a heat gun and heated up the stock pipes. after that it took me 10 minutes, was very easy to do when the stock pipes are warm. reason is not just the opening, but you can actually pull the stock pipe towards you and it will stay. when the pipes are cold, they just wont move. the pipe is a little like a bendy straw, where you can pull it and it will extend.

ya worked perfect

without the 2 stock pipes warm, you cannot get the stock intake on. it just does not fit . you need to be able to stretch the stock pipes, they wont stretch when they are cold
