Question Lower Body Damage? Splash Guards?

Does anyone have lower body damage, behind the wheels on the side skirts or back bumper, from stones?

I know some cars have stronger, more resilient paint in these areas to protect against damage. Does the E90? (My car is on order. )

Are splash guards a good idea?

I don't like the appearance of splash guards but if they do a good job protecting the lower body, then I might consider them.

Thanks.

after installing a full clear bra kit to my car... i decided to custom make some added protection for the lower half of the 3.

it turned out perfect... see pics.
