Mask up around the badge, double layer of masking tape.
Heat the badge with a hairdryer.
Slide a credit card between the badge & masking tape.
Gently place a screwdriver between credit card and badge, and moving around the badge gently prise the badge away.

Done

Tape all around the badge to protect the paintwork .Then use something like a plastic panel removal tool to prize the badge up. They are held inplace with a double-sided tape. They are really tight until you break the seal .Goodluck and mind the paintwork.

Are the E92 badges different to the E90?

When I replaced mine it just pulled off, it had 2 legs on the back with rubber grommets holding it onto the bonnet. Same for the boot.

I think there is a difference in sizes between the two E92 -E90,the stud fixings are the same + on mine the badge was also glued in place, hence the warm up with a hairdryer.

Got them off flea'bay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320728042642#ht_2729wt_1163

Bonnet Badge - 82mm
Boot Badge - 74mm
Wheel Centers - 68mm
Steering Wheel - 45mm

Not overly impressed as you have to stick the carbon roundel onto the supplied backing plates but apart from that they do look decent quality.

??? No tape on mine, just the two pegs. lifted out easily with a trim removal tool.

Soft trim tools won't / shouldn't mark the paintwork.

Hardest part was pushing the new badge pegs into the plastic hole bushings, never quite get them 100% home, maybe 95%, still 'rocks' on the pegs...

Reviving and old thread here but....are these sizes correct for an E92?
