thanks
1. It weighs 24lbs less than stock
2. It is catless with no resonators or x pipes. Only the mufflers in the rear.
3. He has stock DPs
4. $1599 and selling out quickly.

AE is the exhaust that I have my sights on, to me they have the best exhaust at the best price and I can't wait to order mine.

I'm looking to keep it dual and not go quads as well, what size tips are those?
The tips are 3.5" on the dual, and 3" on the Quads.

^ Thanks for the help, Nick. And thanks to everyone for the positive comments. I swear the exhaust sounds better each day. I've been driving around with my window down and the seat heater on, lol.

I'll second everything said here about the AE exhaust I enjoy mine more and more each day. (installed a few weeks ago) I too feel like the car is smoother in power delivery and more responsive too. It takes less throttle input to make the car go. Only issue I have is a vibration transmitted into the car at low rpm. Sounds like a pipe touching something metal or a loose fitting. This weekend I am going to put it up and double check everything.

I'd say the only down side is how much crappier my gas mileage is now cause I am driving the car so much harder to hear it growl.

When you check, make sure none of the underbody heat shieldings are touching it.. that can create a slight tapping/rattling sound if its making contact with one of the hangers somewhere.

Thanks! I plan to check the heat sheilding, flange bolts, and the cats near that sheild we discussed over PM last week. Maybe my shim was not enough to clear it.

Wanted to add that I got the AE Dual E92 exhaust installed today (by Clem and Sniz from e90post). Will do a full review later , but initial impressions are fantastic. I am now convinced that a fully divorced (no X pipe) is absolutley what belongs on this car. If there is drone, I have not heard it yet.

I can do an intial compare of AE's exhaust to the Britalman I had before (xpipe), and tell you the AE is a step above in sound and fitment. I highly recommend the AE exhaust system, and the purchase transaction with Nick could not have been better.

Thanks!

The Hotchkis brace touches the exhaust since it actually has less clearance than the factory piece, however, no audible vibrations were noted in the customers car that we installed the exhaust on (that had the brace).

We did not take pics during the install since the guys wanted to get out and fish that afternoon. Will be putting on an Intercooler within a month and get the car back up on the lift again and get some good pics. Same guys (Sniz and Clem) installed my former exhaust, on Sniz's e92 before it's demise, and they mentioned how great the AE fitment was, and how fast the install went with the AE, compared to the wrestling they went through to get everything lined up with the Britalman.

I still have a smile on my face about this purchase! Thanks!

How about an E92 rear brace? Would that clear? I do not like the idea of anything touching the exhaust, and I really need a rear brace after stiffening up the suspension on my car. Thanks!
