this one doesn't have the sharkfin on the trunk. looks really ugly when it does.

Nice photo, do you think the "hardtop" is covered with some camoflage material, or is it made of some other material than the sheet metal that constitutes the rest of the car.

gotta agree with shragon... w/o the sharkfin, it looks dull

but who knows... maybe the new 335 doesn't come w/ the radio b/c bmw wants you the appreciate their melodious engine tone like porsche used to do years ago... jk

actually i like it better without the shark fin.

Uhh... your disagreeing with Shragon, he doesn't like the sharkfin. It looked odd and out of place when it was in the center, glad to see it gone also.

The car is heavily masked, heck the B-Pillar is entirely fake, as is the material on the roof. So yeah its gonna look "dull" in the spy shots. Heck, I doubt the press pictures will be that amazing. But when you see it in real life, I am sure you'll be impressed.

i just like the edgy styling from the fin... sorry i misunderstood... i took into consideration that this was a spy car, but i find the lackofsharkfin to be unappealing... boring? for the lack of a better word?

BMW's trend is usually,
Sedan -> 1yr later -> coupe -> 6mth later -> coupe convertible, right?

can we expect this car by next spring?

Yes.
Current SOP is December 2006. Should be unveiled in September.

This date still could get pushed around, but is unlikely.

That is very interesting. Of course I noticed the patently masked lights and roundels, but I had to read your post and then do a double take before realizing that they did in fact put on a fake B pillar.
