Need help with Mod CDV install

I am having trouble installing my modified cdv valve. I cannot get the spring pin reinserted into the hard line receiver. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas?

It came out easy enough, but cant get it in by pushing, wiggling, tapping. I am screwed until I find a way.

Need Nose pliers? Make sure it's lined up right...just took a little push to get back on.

+1 on the needle nose pliers.

I had to place the clip into the CDV before I put the CDV into position. Then you just push the clips down. It's hard to see what's going on once it's up in there.

That's what I thought! I think I bent the clip up too much. I secured it with wire for now and ordered a new clip, should be in Monday.

Thanks.
