Leather repair in NYC/Long Island

Does anyone know of a leather repair expert located in the New York City or Long Island area? The misses dragged her purse along the center console by the gear shift and now there's a 1cm tear in the leather. Its not really noticable but its BUGGING me.
Any recommendations?

Another quick question, but is a repair generally expensive?
