Doh!

I've had that happen when I had my E36...it had PSS9's on it.. go figure....The shock slipped out of that bushing.

It sucks, but It's not that bad to fix.

Had that happen to a buddy's e36 m3 on a fun saturday drive. We were stranded on the side of the road. Guess what......the big old washers the state dept of transportation uses to hold on the guard rails.....worked perfectly. Removed one from the guardrail bolt, installed on the shock. Bingo back in business.

Can't say the same for the unlucky bastard who's going to end up at that guard rail... but still, on the quick thinking and getting back to business. I would've the same thing!

why are you clapping at someone's misfortune? Did the M3 owner do something to you to deserve this?

The only fail here is the bouncing the driver of this unfortunate M3 is experiencing. His shock had popped out of it's collar and is hanging there uselessly.
